Your Favorite Color and Your Least Favorite Color

I had an idea today to paint in your journal, on a piece of canvas paper or canvas board. I wanted to know whether I would still love my favorite color if it was next to the color I disliked the most. Now you have to understand, I love olive green and beige/tan for my clothing, but they are not my absolute favorite for a room, furniture or in a painting. So, I decided that I wanted to take one of my favorite colors which is aqua and put it next to olive green and beige/tan in a painting. Will I dislike the colors I already do not care for or will I like them better next to my favorite color?
