My husband and I went to an antique salvage warehouse in New Hampshire a couple of weeks ago. Millions and millions of dollars worth of doors, grates, columns, stained glass windows and you name it. Couldn't afford a thing. If you redoing a circa home or just love old stuff, that was the place.
Bathtubs galore outside, fire place mantle leaning upon each other inside.
The colors were glorious, especially the windows. The deep browns of wood colors, shabby chic columns...just have to keep an eye out for these types of things in other locations. Was fun to dream though, wondering where each piece came from.
